Pretty creepy, startling, yet evoking the tiniest sliver of hope that it could be possible.

This video made me very sad. The AI generated images and voices are not a novelty any more; we've seen better in Superbowl commercials. The absurdity of the notion that the group of people portrayed would ever join in a song of hope and love is tragically unfunny. Maybe it's because I remember the original and the good that came from it. Maybe it's because I, like many of us, had spent the prior decade marching, organizing, protesting, singing, crying and believing that our efforts had resulted in some positive changes. Maybe it's because I remember when "real" music had the power to inspire us to hope for a better world, when our true leaders were people like Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Harry Belafonte, Bob Dylan, Peter Paul and Mary, Joan Baez, so many others, NOT politicians. Maybe it's because of the frustration many of us feel that after everything we went through in the '60s and '70s, when we were young and had the energy, our world is in the shape it's in today. But....when I feel old and tired of it all I am frequently inspired by Noel Paul Stookey who has never stopped working for good. Now that I've gotten that off my chest, should I post it? Yeah...

Wow! Thanks for sharing this, Noel. I went through the gamut of emotions. At first I laughed out loud—especially at Trump and Putin! Then I settled in, listened to the words and thought what a miracle it would be if this could come true. By the end, I was teary. I’ll be praying for this beautiful vision to become a reality. Love and hugs.

Ah ... music, the universal language! If it were only possible that we could all get along on this tiny little spec in the universe. I think it sends a powerful message. Well done!

Interesting to say the least! I do see Jean's questions as valid but to Noel's points: initially it did bring a smile to my face (hard to do when I must look at DT). Amazing what AI can do and it's possibilities, good and bad, as technology progresses. But I was struck, as my aging mind is prone to be, at what peace in the world might look like! And finally, some sadness in that, that dream seems to be getting further and further away. Hope springs eternal and my prayers continue for all of us. Dave Anderson

Very well done AI. Donald should have been a little nastier.

I found myself reacting emotionally, thinking, as Jeanne said, what if? What if world leaders woke up to what the world needs and wants. Peace and justice. And, really made the effort to bring them about. The only thing missing in the parody is them holding hands.

Striking in the contradictions! And it should make one distrust any video on line. One question: who was the blond woman leader who sings at the end? At first I was thinking, we women weren't going to be part of the authoritarian-killer choir, then there she was, plus one other woman in the final line-up. Great trivia game to try and identify all the leaders...

A very good reminder of what could be if we all kept demanding such leadership.

Being an older white person who was raised in poverty and still live in poverty. Being born (4th Generation American) doesn't make you rich. I had low grade average. My dream was to entertain in song and dance. ( still dancing even in the grocery stores). I can't wrap my head around world hunger. I heard it when I was a kid. " Clean your plate there are children starving in Africa." I thought they can have my food. It was usually something I didn't like. Now I'm thankful for my best friend sending me a food and supplement package once a month. Americans are now half starving. We can't take care of the world. " The poor you have with you always." We need to take care of our own first then worry about the world.

In the coming famine Who is going to eat? Your children or theirs? Tough decision. We can't take in the whole world to live in this country. Too much division. Religions..languages...traditions. who will be in control of it all? It will always be unfair and terrible to someone. There is only One who can straighten this world out. Only the Messiah Himself! That's Who I am waiting for to Rule and Reign!

I don't fight on anything political. I since Judgement and Destruction coming. All I can do is watch and pray as I wait.

Noel I have wonderful memories of you and Bette and your baby twins Kate and Anna when I worked for you as a nanny. That was in 1972. I wish I could go back to those days. Blessings to you and your family. I wish I could talk to you for a few minutes.

Love & Peace!❤️✌️
