There are indeed other generations who will read your book. I'm a baby boomer whose two daughters grew up hearing PP&M. They new well "El Salvador" which I still sing today. We were involved in the movement in Ft Worth TX. A granddaughter is in the business side of the music industry. She may not yet know Noel's influence but it's there. Thank you for a lifetime of social concerns, it fed my very soul. Yes I am a progressive as well

hello again! how does a person find out about gatherings or other influences that allows a person to tap into inspiration and other people's journeys such as converge music ?

I first learned about the Convergence Music Project when Noel was invited to be a part of it. However, my main source about what's going on ( theologians, writers, online study groups, and events) in progressive Christianity is through listening to podcasts such as Tripp Fuller's "Homebrewed Christianity" and Jason Micheli and Teer Hardy's "Crackers and Grape Juice." (Both of these are fairly heady with a lot of joking around at the beginning of each episode. Be prepared to be surprised. You'll discover some interviewees that you like and others that you won't .) For daily meditations and some podcasts I go to website of the Center for Action and Contemplation. To learn about new books on religion and spirituality, I read the Englewood Review of Books. On Substack both Noel and I are subcribers to Diana Bulter Bass's The Cottage. When I find writers I like, I search for podcasts in which they are interviewed. (Sorry. I don't know how to add links to "comments")

Excellent piece. The hardest part of creating a book is working to get it published. AGENT, AGENT AGENT. Here's a piece on finding comps written by Alyssa Matesic, a developmental editor I've been following. https://www.chapter-break.com/p/how-similar-do-comp-titles-really?utm_source=substack&publication_id=1150549&post_id=140342025&utm_medium=email&utm_content=share&utm_campaign=email-share&triggerShare=true&isFreemail=false&r=3hm7r

Thanks for this helpful article. By the way, I love "The Sandman Theme" and "Tell Me a Story." One of the many wonderful gifts of working with Noel on his autobiography is being introduced to other creative people like you.
